Bill Jamerson, singer/songwriter will present a music and storytelling program about the Civilian Conservation Corps in the Library Welch Room. He will share stories, music, and a short PBS video about the CCC camps during the Great Depression.

There were encampments in Hardin and McNairy counties from 1933 to 1940. Men from these counties helped at Pickwick and Shiloh Park for a dollar a day thus, enabling them to provide for their families during the depression.
