The Annual Summer Reading Program is ALMOST here! This year’s Summer Reading theme is Libraries ROCK! We have a lot of fun programs planned for not just kids, but ALL ages!
We are hosting a Healthy Kids Day on Friday, June 1, from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the Library’s parking lot! We have friends coming from our local Health Department, Lifespan, Fire and Police Departments, The Imagination Library, Carl Perkins, Savannah Junior Auxiliary, and Pickwick Landing State Park! Our goal is to help everyone learn about possible opportunities and services available for families and children right here in our own community!
We will begin our Summer Reading Registration on this day! The Library will be doing some face painting! Lifespan Health will be offering FREE Vision Screenings! The Fire Department is bringing their friend, Sparky! The Police Department will be helping families learn all about Car Seat Safety, and how to properly install them in your vehicles! Pickwick is bringing along with them a special feathered friend!
AND….
We will have a special guest!!! PETER RABBIT! He will be walking around throughout the day to take photos!!!
